Alex Killick is the Head of CWCapital’s Special Servicing business. In this capacity, he oversees a team of veteran loan workout and REO operations professionals as they develop and implement business plans for the ultimate resolution of non‐performing loans. Key direct responsibilities also include the negotiation and structuring of workouts on commercial loans, aggressively managing the exercise of lenders’ contractual and legal remedies, and protecting CMBS Trust investors through setting legal strategies in CMBS‐borrower bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Killick and the team of asset managers cover wide ranging, PSA‐directed activities, including negotiations with borrowers, property inspections, financial statement review and analysis, NPV alternative analysis and, when necessary, managing the leasing and budgeting of REO assets, all with an eye toward best resolution outcomes for the Trust. Additionally, Mr. Killick is heavily involved in CMBS compliance, relationships with outside counsel, expert vendors, property managers, leasing brokers, as well as with servicing parties such as master servicers and other special servicers. As a member of the firm’s Credit Committee, he reviews business plans on a weekly basis in order to quantify recovery projections and manage the approval of proposed workout or disposition strategies.

Prior to joining CWCapital, Mr. Killick was an origination analyst with J.P. Morgan’s CMBS group in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Killick received a M.A. in Management/Finance from the University of St. Andrews.
